wife of Ray Edward Betty; mother of Chas Ray Betty Thelma Betty, 91, of Weston, Texas services were 10 a.m. Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Bill Ashburn officiating. Burial was in Cottage Hill Cemetery. Betty died Sunday, April 19, 1998, at Medical Center in McKinney, Texas. She was born December 4, 1906 in Weston, Texas to A. E. "D" and Bettie Mugg Cave. She married Ray Edward Betty in Weston, Texas. She was a retired seamstress and member of the First Baptist Church of Weston. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Betty and brother, Carl Cave. Survivors include two sons, Glen Betty and his wife, Norma of Garland, Texas and Charles Betty and his wife, Wanda, of Splendora; six grandchildren, Charles Betty Jr., Larry Betty, Debbie Hatfield, Michael Betty, Glen Edward Betty and Robert Betty; seven great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; one sister, Emma D. Turnbow of Gordonville, Texas; three brothers, J. P. Cave and Harold Cave both of Sherman, Texas and Ted Cave of Sherman, Texas.
