Services for H. H. "Haze" Murray, 84, of Huntington, were held Friday, Nov. 6, 1998 in the Gipson-Hunter-Metcalf Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mr. Murray was born May 7, 1914 in Chireno to the late Hiram and Edith (Lambert) Murray. He died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998 in a Lufkin hospital. Mr. Murray had been employed as a planer operatior for Temple-Inland, retiring 23 years ago. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and was an avid gardener. He was a former resident of Diboll. Survivors: wife of 53 years, Josephine L. Murray of Huntington; sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle Wayne and Patsy Murray of Huntington, Sidney and Tracy Murray of Diboll; sons, Jack H. Murray of Hudson and Paul H. Murray of Diboll; daughter, Bobbie Jo Coleman of Diboll; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Joe Boler of Orange; grandchildren, Charles Coleman, Anita Dulaney, Felicia McBride, Shannon Hickman, David Murray, Ira Hayes Murray, Deanna Murray, Tracie Jones, Chris Murray, Jesica Murray, Hiram Murray and Caleb Murray; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Billie Ruth Herring of Lufkin and Lavern Hensarling of Nacogdoches; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
