PFC US ARMY KOREA Mr. Lambert B. Pustejovsky, 71, of Arlington died Monday, June 24, at an Arlington nursing home. He was born September 15, 1930, in Penelope, son of August and Stevie Pustejovsky. He attended schools in Abbott and West and played on the West High School football team. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Bennie Mae Podsednik March 28, 1951 and she preceded him in death May 2, 2001. He worked as a foreman for General Motors for 35 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of SPJST Lodge #183 in Arlington and VFW Post #4819, American Legion No. 478 and KJT Society No. 31, all of West and St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington. He was also preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Ervin, Raymond, Jerry and Ernest Pustejovsky. Survivors include: one son, Thomas Pustejovsky and wife, Teresa of Cedar Hill; three daughters, Antonette Pustejovsky of Irving, Sharon Cormier and husband, Kenneth of Houston and Debra Daniel of Arlington; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A rosary will recited at 10 a.m. today, (Thursday, June 27) at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. with Rev. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Military graveside rites will follow at St. Martin's Cemetery, conducted by VFW Post #4819 of West. Aderhold Funeral Home in West is in charge of the arrangements.
