Bio

Her father was George Washington Grooms (1822-1878) and her mother was Eliza Jane Hunter Grooms (1826-1870) Married to Richard on February 4, 1871 in Jackson County, Arkansas. Infant Twin Boys were born and died between 1900- 1902 in Texas. Richard and Caroline were traveling from Ellis County, Texas to south Texas looking for land to purchase. It is not known where the twins are buried. Information provided by Mary Arnold Brillhart.
