Married 1873 Chicago, Cook, IL ---------------------------------------------- Mrs. Aug. Tesmer sr. age 60 years, passed away Thursday Feb. 22, 1912, at the farm residence in Paplin, Howard Co., from the result of a 2nd stroke of paralysis. About five years ago, Mrs. Tesmer had a stroke which paralized [sic] her left side from which the lady never recovered, and on Wednesday last had another stroke affecting her right side which proved fatal. Mrs. Tesmer was the mother-in-law of Mr. Alex Gappa, our estimable co-op. elevator manager. The funeral which was largely attended took place at Paplin Church and cemetery on Saturday last.
