In early life she embraced religion and was for several years a member of the old Liberty church, on the Monticello Circuit... In the fall of 1858, bro Morris emigrated to Texas, and settled in Collin Co., where Elizabeth was married to W P Baxter. who had accompanied the family from MO. This occured 2 Jan 1859. After marriage she lived near the place where the family settled on first coming to Texas, and became the mother of 4 children. From them and her husband and all earthly friends, she was separated by death, 14 Oct 1871, aged 40 yrs 28 das. Her children are all well provided for as could be possible without a mother.
