Bio
CPL US ARMY KOREA Son of Charles Franklin and Bertha Gertrude Puckett Biggs. The following was provided by Kathleen Clemence: Corporal Biggs was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy near Sidamak, North Korea on July 24, 1953. Corporal Biggs was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
