Mary Ann Preston, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mary Ann was born on February 2, 1934 in Encino, Texas to Richard and Mary Bone. Mary Ann was involved in the family business Preston's Auto Clinic from 1970 until her retirement in 2000. She owned and operated C.C. BMX with her husband Virl. Mary Ann will always be remembered for her enthusiasm for racing. She enjoyed arts and crafts and walking in the mall with her friends. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virl; parents, Richard and Mary Bone; son, Ricky Morrison and her brothers, PeeWee, Richard and Johnny "Chico" Bone. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Faron Morrison (Jeanne); daughters, Cheryl Rye and Shevoun Morrison; step-son, Ray Preston; brother, James Bone; grandchildren, Brian and Kris Rye, Brandi Sorrows, Gavon Lofton, Paiton Morrison, Brea and Kevin Morrison, Stephanie and Staci Allphin, Waylon Derek, Jimmy and Danny Preston; eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Seaside Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
