Bio

Duke Ruble was born in Washington County, TN the son of Henry Ruble and Barbara Hunter. He was the Grandson of Peter Rubel, a Revolutionary War veteran. Duke Ruble was one of Tennessee's early pioneer preachers. His wife was Sarah Slaughter, who was the daughter of William Slaughter, Jr. (also preacher) and Rebecca Mulkey. She is a descendant of Phillip Mulkey one of Tennessee's first preachers.
