Barbara Young Ramon, 66, of Waco, passed away at a Dallas hospital Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday Jan. 29, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, at Grace Gardens. Barbara was born in Thrall, Texas, to the late Jim and Etheline Young. She spent a good bit of her childhood here in Waco and retired from Dillards after 20 years. Barbara married Lupe Ramon on his birthday, Nov. 29, 1979. She was preceded in death by a son, Doug Eaton. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lupe; daughter, Ann Denise Ramon Parker and husband, Rick; son, David Eaton; sisters, Floye Bruce and Virginia Defransisco and husband, Pete; brothers, Gordon Young and wife, Penny, and Ray Young; and her favorite little puppy, Paco.
