CARLSBAD CURRENT-ARGUS Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico June 7, 1988 RHOADES Services for Billy Shawn Rhoades, 20, 1250 N. Pate St., Apt. 5, who died June 7 at Guadalupe Medical Center, are scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m. in the West Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wesley Ward, Bethel Baptist Church, is to officiate. Pallbearers include: Eric Heft, Gary Kessler, Danny Nolen, Manuel Pino, Albert Estrada, Curtis McIlvoy and James Rhoades. He was born in Carlsbad on Oct. 28, 1967, and attended schools here. He had worked at various jobs in Carlsbad and Florida before he began his employment at WIPP one year ago where he was a shaft-tender. He was a member of the Radio Operated Auto Racing Club. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Ronnie and Jeanne Rhoades, Carlsbad; his mother, Joyce Arrison, Haines City, Fla.; three brothers, David M. Rhoades, Haines City, Fla., Marcus K. Weems, Clovis, Bobby Thomas, Carlsbad; one sister, Donna M. Rhoades, Carlsbad; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Tolbert, Carlsbad, Bernice Rhoades, Carlsbad, Marilyn Cummings, Artesia; great-grandparents, Marie Loftis and Clarence Loftis, both of Carlsbad, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin L. O'Neill, Haines City, Fla.
