Freddie (Gardner) French, 85, of Robinson, passed away Friday, Jan. 21, 2011. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home with the Rev. Cary Killough to officiate. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. Freddie was born in Centerville, Texas, to the late Ross and Quida (Smith) Gardner. She was united in marriage to Robert Earl French on December of 1951. Freddie was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne Baker; and brother, J. Porter Gardner. Freddie is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. French, of Robinson; son, Larry French and wife, Susan, of Round Rock; daughter, Nancy L. Moeller and husband, David, of Troy; grandchildren, Robbie, Kellie and B.J. Baker, Jason and Jonathan French, Angie Hendricks and Katie Wilde; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Waco Tribune-Herald: 1/23/2011...Z6
