The Paris News Paris News Service Cooper Wed. April 6, 1955 Pg. 5 Mrs. Jack Rainey died Wednesday at 12:50 a.m. in Janes Hospital, where she had had surgery after long illness. The funeral, Thursday at 2 p.m., will be held at the Church of Christ here, conducted by the minister, Murel Bryant, and the Rev. Glenn Hayden of First Baptist Church. McDonald Funeral Home will make burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. The former Miss Ola Mae Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clay Martin, Mrs. Rainey was born in Texas, Oct. 30, 1896. Surviving are her husband and these children: Mrs. Ray Ellis, Mrs. A. B. Tarrant and Richard James Rainey, all of Fort Worth; Mrs. J. W. Toon, Mrs. O. B. Day, Jr., and H. D. Rainey, all of Cooper; 11 grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Vernon Martin in California; Percy Martin and Willie Martin, Klondike; Mrs. W. E. Woden, Dumas, and Mrs. Hamp Cockrum, Paris.
