Bio
Henry Feldmann was born in Quernheim, in the Province of Hannover, Germany. In 1866 at the age of 22 Henry emigrated to Washington County, Texas. In 1870 he married Wilhelmina Hohertz. Their first three children--Frederick, Louis, and Gustav were born in Washington County. Henry and Wilhelmina moved their family to Milam County and then Bell County where Christina, Emma, and Sophy were born. In 1883 the family moved to Hamilton County and Henry, Hulda, and Karl were born. Father Feldmann was one of the first German settlers in Hamilton County and was one of the organizers of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was survived by 9 children, 48 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
