Feldmann & Wilhelmine Hohertz ********************************************************************** OBITUARY FROM THE HAMILTON HERALD-NEWS: Henry Feldmann Funeral Rites Held Friday Henry A. Feldmann, 82, a lifetime resident of the Hamilton area was buried at Aleman Friday, Dec. 2, following services in the St. Paul Lutheran Church there. Preceding these services were services at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Bob Riley Funeral Home in Hamilton. Pastor Raymond Reich officiated at both services. Mr. Feldmann died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Hamilton County General Hospital following an extended period of declining health. A longtime Hamilton County farmer and rancher, Mr. Feldmann was a native, having been born here Aug. 31, 1884. On Jan. 11, 1906, he was married to Miss Sophia Rosentreter. They were parents of six children; two of whom are now deceased. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Aleman. Surviving Mr. Feldmann are his wife, Sophia Feldmann; two daughters, Mrs. Hilda Askins of Hamilton and Mrs. Elna Schmidt of Austin; two sons, John Feldmann of Hamilton and Lee Feldmann of Fort Worth; a brother, Charlie Feldmann of Aleman; and eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two grandsons preceded Mr. Feldmann in death, including one who was a victim of the sniper's bullets in the famous library tower in Austin last summer. Pallbearers were Kenneth Lynch, Leonard Buchhorn, Vernon Gromatzky, Weldon Gromatzky, Elmer Angermann and Alfred Seider.
