Chico Enterprise Record: "J.J. DuBose. Funeral services for James Junious DuBose, 87, of 1924 Goodspeed St., Durham, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brusie Funeral Chapel. He died Saturday at a local convalescent hospital. Born May 14, 1883, in Gonzales, TX, he had lived in Butte County 50 years. He farmed on the Cherokee Strip near Oroville until 1961 when he sold the farm and moved to Durham. He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth; two sons, Robert W. of Chico and Clyde of Durham; two daughters, Aileen Young of Yuba City and Imogene Hydro of Reno, Nev.; a brother Aaron of Texas, and a sister, Mrs. Addie Brokks of Corona. The Rev. David Kelly of the Durham Community Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be C. David DuBose, Ben DuBose, Robert DuBose, David R. DuBose, Gary W. Young and Wayne Smith."
