Twin to Robert "Bob" Huddleston Contributor: Gregory Dublar (48302812) _________________________________ father: Franklin Delonia (Ladd) Huddleston; mother: Ann Kathryn Miller; md. 22 Nov 1910 in Palo Pinto Co., TX John Huddleston dies; rites Monday Funeral services for John Huddleston, 71, of 583 SE 6th Avenue, were conducted Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Baum-Carlock Chapel with Bill Jones, minister of the Southside Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was in Sturdivant cemetery. Huddleston who lived alone was discovered in a dying condition when his brothers went to his home Saturday about 2:00 P.M. after neighbors reported not seeing him Saturday morning. He died shortly after the brothers arrived, and Justice of the Peace O. E. Dickinson returned a verdict of death by suffocation. He was a native of Parker County, born March 2, 1887 but had resided here most of his life. He was a retired stock farmer, and a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nina Flo Danford of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Roland McMinn of Mineral Wells; two brothers, Will and Bob Huddleston both of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Mrs. Jettie Eiland of Fort Worth and Mrs. Barney Perry of Weatherford and eight grandchildren. - obituary 1.
