However, the following records have Sargent as his middle name: 1) Rufe Sargent Huddleston in the United States World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918 2) Rufus Sargent Huddleston as mentioned in the marriage record of Dwight Lowell Hoopingarner and Iris Veda Huddleston All other records just have the initial "S". Rufus married his first wife Edna Ellen Allin on 15 Feb 1903 in Parker County, Texas. She's buried in the Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland, Midland, Texas. The couple had 4 children.
