Rick Hanna Obituary Rick L. Hanna 1950-2007 Rickie Lewis Hanna was born on March 22, 1950 in Emmett, Idaho and completed his wonderful life in beautiful Escondido, Calif. Rick grew up as one of Boise's "North-End Kids" - attending Lowell Elementary, North Jr. High and graduating from Boise High in 1968. He married Cathi Sarvis in 1970 and provided for his young family while he persevered, earning a Bachelor's in Science from Boise State (Go Broncos!), as well as a Master's Degree from the University of Idaho. During those years, he was blessed with two loving daughters, Gretchen Hanna and Kresta Hanna. Known as "Pa Rick" to his grandsons Bryce and Trey, Rick was thrilled when they became part of his world. Rick married Peggy Seachris in 1994, and life became a fantastic journey. After extensive traveling and living in Singapore, Germany and Spain for 12 years, they re-planted their previous roots in California. Their 27 years together brought them unconditional love, patience and devotion for each other. Rick lived life as a giving, witty, intelligent and sensitive man. He was not only deeply loved and cherished by his wife and daughters, and large extended family, but by his friends all over the world. Rick will be missed and remembered by so many: His parents Doris (Hanna) Fry and Monte Fry, and Orville and Dorothy Hanna; and siblings: "The Hanna Kids" --- Suzanne (Hanna) Hopkins, Mike Hanna, and Ron Hanna, who say that they had an adventurous, creative Big Brother who led the way for them. And so, to the Greatest Cannon-Baller ever...to the INCREDIBLE man that those of us who adored him call The Rickster, Alpha-Male, and Nuke, we smile and say as he would, "Ciao Baby! See ya on the flip side!" Rick will return to Tuscany, Italy, his favorite place, a place filled with incredible memories and peace. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
