Bio
Pueblo Chieftain September 19, 2003 Juanita Berniece Ashbrook, 85, passed away Sept. 16, 2003. Born Oct. 2, 1917, in Castle Rock, Colo., to Lile A. and Cynthia Shelton who preceded her; along with her loving husband, John V. Ashbrook; brother, Lile A. Shelton; and sister, Cynthia Aline Oberheide. Survived by her daughter, Vicki (Chris) Lembcke; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Juanita retired from the Colorado State Hospital, and also was a volunteer for the Pueblo Visitor Center. Juanita was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter C.G. and served as president, vice president and treasurer. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Paul United Methodist Church. Private family inurnment at a later date. Donations may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, or P.E.O. Chapter C.G. in care of Helen Reichert, 125 Dunsmere Ave., Pueblo, CO 81004 in her memory.
