Source: Daily Ardmoreite Willie Belle Boatner Marietta - Services for Willie Belle Boatner, 90, Thackerville, were scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Anderson-Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel with Murray McMurray officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery. Mrs. Boatner died May 21, 1995 in the Marietta hospital. She was born July 10, 1904 at Clarksville, Texas, to T.J. and Stella Blalock Parker. Married to Thomas E. Boatner April 14, 1920 in DeQueen, Ark., she lived in Marietta from 1940-87 when she moved to Thackerville. She was preceded in death by her husband Jan. 2, 1968, and son, Arnold, in 1959. Survivors include a son, Ronald, Marietta; two daughters, Peggy Jones and Lois Yow, Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Lovell Parker, Hurst, Texas, and Marlin Parker, Dallas; three sisters, Gladys Bailey, Corpus Christi, Texas, Lucy Franks, Clarksville, Texas, and Izola Owings, Prescott Valley, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. Bearers were Bill Taylor, Allen Woody, Rod Renfro, Elvis Monkers, Dean and Don Pearman.
