Newton in CHICO (Butte Co.), Jan. 13—Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Rebecca Jane Newton, a resident of Superior California all of her 72 years. She died here Wednesday. Mrs. Newton was born in Georgetown, El Dorado County. After her marriage to the late William Newton, she moved to Colusa, Colusa County. They lived in Glenn County after that until moving to Chico in 1913. She is survived by her children, Ivan Newton, Mrs. Vera Sylvers and Mrs. Myrtle Dinnel of Chico, Mrs. Maude Parkison of Magalia, Butte County, LeRoy Newton of Yuba City, Sutter County, and William E. Newton of Oakland.
