Bio
James Smith of Ponder passed away December 24, 2010 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Claudia, his parents and one brother. He is survived by two sons Carl and Rex Smith, three sisters, Linda Cannon, Gail Hollinsworth and Brenda Martinez, nieces, nephews and many friends. There will be a graveside service at Eakins Cemetery in Justin on Saturday January 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kim Broadstreet officiating. We would like to thank all the friends that help take care of James when he was ill and thanks to Sheila and the staff of Ardent Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the benevolence fund at the First Baptist Church of Ponder.
