Denton Record-Chronicle (TX) - Wednesday, August 18, 2004 PONDER - Claudia M. Smith, 62, of Ponder died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at her home. She was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Houston to Rex and Irene Mat-tie (Parks) Allbritton. In Feb. 1970, she married James R. Smith in Dallas. She worked in the delicatessen at Burris Grocery in Justin. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, at Eakin Cemetery in Ponder. The Rev. Kim Broadstreet will officiate. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. Survivors include her husband of Ponder; three sons, Rex Smith, Brian Russell and Billy Russell, all of Grand Prairie; three sisters, Doris Sprinkle and Eddie Allbritton, both of Grand Prairie, and Joleen Hendershot of Decatur; and seven grandchildren.
