Bio

TEC 5 US Army WWII Edward F. Hennig of Tours, a retired farmer, rancher and blacksmith, died Friday at a West nursing home. He was 74. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours, the Rev. Isidore Rozycki as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. today at the church in Tours. Mr. Hennig was born June 18, 1920, in Leroy and lived in the Leroy and Tours areas all his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church in Tours and a member of Catholic Life. Survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth Bartsch of Rockne, Sister Adela Hennig of San Antonio and Irene Schiemenz of Bellmead. Kotch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
