John B. Hennig, 73, of Rt. 2, West, died Friday, June 15 at a Hillsboro nursing home. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rev. B.J. Zientek as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Hennig was born Jan. 21, 1911, in McLennan County and lived in West most of his life. He worked at the West Flour Mill for 18 years and Broadmore Mobile Homes for 10 years. He was married to Regina Rauschhuber on October 24, 1933 in Tours. Mr. Hennig was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJT Society No. 31. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Herman J. Hennig, Bellmead and Anthony A. Hennig of West; seven daughters, Mrs. Louis Webre and Mrs. Danny Abernathy, both of West, Mrs. Richard Dean of Minneapolis, Mrs. Charles Doussan of New Orleans, Mrs. Lawrence Rejcek of Garland, Mrs. Irvin Walser of Houston and Mrs. Bernard Pustejovsky of Abbott; two brothers, Walter Hennig and Edward Hennig, both of West; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Bartsch of Rockne, Mrs. Arthur Schiemenz of Bellmead and Sister Ad3la Hennig of San Antonio; 27 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Matthew Pustejovsky, Thomas Webre, Daniel Webre, Kenneth Webre, Herman Hennig, Jr., Mark Pustejovsky, Shawn Rejcek and Louis Webre, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers were Andrew Webre, Eric Abernathy, Gregory Webre, Clarence Hennig, David Webre and Phillip Webre.
