James Henry Peters was born in California to B.F. Peters and Nellie Chancy. James Henry Peters, 63, died at 10:15 a.m. today in the Childress General Hospital. He made his home at 503 1/2 3rd Street Northwest. Born December 16, 1902 at Fresno, California, he was a retired farmer and moved to Childress from Amarillo in 1962. Survivors include his wife, Rosa of Childress; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Baldwin of Little Rock, Arkansas and Mrs. Amy McFadden of California; three sons, Norman Lee Peters of Nebraska, James Doyle Potts of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Delbert Potts of Albion, Oklahoma; four sisters and one brother.
