Bio

George Andrew Schnieder, whose death notice appeared in last week's issue of The Press, was born at Mudesheim, Germany, in the year 1841, and moved from there to Glenn Ellyn, Ill., later on moved to Effingham county where he was united to Miss Elizabeth Wegman in October, 1866. To this union six children were born, all living except Mary who died in infancy. Those surviving are Andrew, Joseph and Clara, at home, Frank, living five miles east of Teutopolis, and Mrs. John (Anna) Mueller, west of town two miles, also one grandchild, one sister, Mrs. G.
