Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, at 2 p.m. in the Flesher Chapel. Dr. Michael Daves will officiate. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Neoma Umphress of Van Alstyne; daughter, Dorothy Kevion of Allen; son Weldon Umphress II of Plano; one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
