Lois Jean Ingram, age 83, of Palestine, Texas died December 26, 2010 at the David E. Foster Hospice Unit at Palestine Regional Medical Center. Burial at Tennessee Colony Cemetery is under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine. She was born May 20, 1927 in Tennessee Colony, Texas to the late Charley and Ella Mae Newton Burkhead. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin Ingram who died only a few days before; and sister, Carol Burkhead. She is survived by a daughter, Marcye Dyer and son-in-law Robert Dyer; sister, Dorothy Adair; grandchildren, Brandon Carr and wife Ashley, and Hailey Dyer; great grandchildren, Madison Carr, and Olivia Carr.
