Bio
Oma Christian, 79, Died Tuesday, March 17, 1998, at Booneville Baptist Hospital after a Long Illness. She was the Owner of Christian Florist in Booneville for more than 30 Years. She was a Charter Member of Thrasher Methodist Church; and a Graduate of Thrasher High School. Services will be at 11 A.M. Thursday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Williams and Rev. C. D. Edge Officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery. Survivors include her Husband, Henry Christian; two Sons, Kenneth Christian of Booneville, and James Terry Christian and Wife, Sandra, of Slidell, LA; two Sisters, Betty Jo Downs of Booneville; and Lona Boren of Tupelo; two Brothers, Roy Morris of Booneville; and Edgar Morris of Grenada; three Grandchildren, Brian Christian of Booneville; and April Christian and Shannon Christian, both of Slidell, LA; Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Elmer and Hattie Morris; two Sisters, Billie Caver and Grace Sheffield; and three Brothers, Robert Morris, Everette Morris and Earl Morris. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 P.M. today and until Service time Thursday. Published: March 1998, Banner Independent, Booneville, Prentiss County, MS.
