Family members confirm that her name is actually CYNTHIA ROE. According to her Death Certificate, she is the daughter of Ned Roe and Sarah Bailey. She married John Thomas "Pet" McPhaul on 21 May 1884 in Bastrop County, Texas. They are the parents of 12 known children: Wesley McPhaul, Myrtle Roe McPhaul Kimbrough, Carrie McPhaul Lock, Gaston McPhaul, Arthur Milton McPhaul, Eulalia McPhaul, Alex McPhaul, Nora Estelle McPhaul Royston, Bitha Pearl McPhaul Boling Davis Stockton, Clyde Julius McPhaul, Mary Bee McPhaul Chapple and Clarence Hugh "Hugh" McPhaul.
