Bio

1st cousin 3x removed He was the son of George Alfred Colwell B. BRASHEARS and Martha Elizabeth CRENSHAW. Married Maude Amy PENNINGTON 13 Dec 1907 in Eastland Co., TX. Children: Maurice Pennington, Cecil Ivan, and Philip Edgar BRASHEAR. Martin taught school at Rucker in Comanche Co., circa 1920. In 1915 the family moved farther west to Crosby County and in 1921 to Lubbock Co. Cotton and grain were the principle crops.
