Daughter of Javan C. Buchanan and Annie D. Buchanan Obituary reads… Services for Mrs. W. R. Mhoon, 72, Wills Rose were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Tisdale and Rev. Fuerbach of Lakewood Assembly of God Church, Dallas, officiating. Burial was in White Rose Cemetery under the direction of LyBrand Funeral Home. Mrs. Mhoon died Sunday afternoon in a Wills Point nursing home following a long illness. She was born in Ben Wheeler but lived most of her life in Dallas. She had been a Wills Point resident for the past 23 years. Mrs. Moon was a clerk for a Dallas department store and a member of the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church in Dallas. Survivors include her husband, W. R. Mhoon, Wills Point, one daughter, Mrs. Betty Ladd, Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Gordon Hayden, Wills Point; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Art Roland, Billy Robertson, Bob Frey and Richard Herrin.
