Served in the US Air Force in Korea from 5 Jan 1951 until 4 Dec 1953 McNIEL, MR. BILLY N. 1930 - 2005, of McKinney, TX passed away. Mr. McNiel was a veteran in the U S Air Force. Mr. McNiel worked 26 years with the Dallas Fire Department before retirement in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Wilda McNiel of McKinney, daughters and sons-in law: Donna & David Ortega of Lancaster, Cindy & Neal Gildner of Hot Springs, AR and Teri & Mark Tallant of McKinney; grandchildren: Neil Roberts, Ryan Gildner, Ty Gildner, Regina Pope, Lexi and Chloe Tallant; great grandchildren: Brittany Pope and Hagen Gildner; sisters and brothers-in-law: Sue McNiel of Dallas, Sherry & Bob Ferrell of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda & James Dugger of Plano and Ruth Kennedy of McKinney. He is preceded in death by his sisters: Judy McNiel and Pat Davis; and great granddaughter, Annora Gildner. Services will be held Monday, April 4, 2005 at 10:00 AM in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Woody Wilson and Rev. Robert Helsey officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
