Bio

Rose Mae died 9/16/91 in Bloomfield at Good Samaritan Home after a three year residence. She was born on a farm near Verdigre. She graduated from Verdigre High in 1923--the first graduating class in the new building. Rose went to Wayne State Teachers College and taught rural school for two years before her 9/22/25 marriage to Frank Hirsh. She and Frank were members of the First Trinity Lutheran Church of Bloomfield. They spent their life on the farm--first the Verdigre log house and then purchased a farm in Bloomfield, NE in the 40s. They retired in 1968 and moved to Bloomfield with their son, Clarence, in a home they purchased in 1973. Their children: Marcella Frances Hirsh Harrom born 10/09/26 in Verdigre died 11/01/2015 in Redding CA 96003 Marvin Lavaine Hirsh born 9/21/27 in Verdigre died 10/21/2002 In Newell Iowa--buried there Clarence Theodore Hirsh born 9/6/1928 in Verdigre died 03/2003 in Bloomfield NE--buried there Donald Lee Hirsh born 1/13/33 in Verdigre, still living Darlene Marie Gartin born 1/3/37 in Verdigre died 09/2010 in Omaha NE ...Info provided by family member, Cheryl Ann Harrom Ingold
