The Casper Tribune-Herald Monday, March 16, 1953 Page 5, Column 4 H. D. Ackerman Dies Suddenly At Home Here Howard D. Ackerman, 52, of 114 West 11th, died late Monday morning at Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness which struck him at home earlier in the day. Survivors include his wife, Anna; two daughters, Mrs. James Gray and Miss Martha Ackerman, both of Casper; one son, Howard J. Ackerman, serving in the Navy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur R. Ackerman; five sisters and six grandchildren. Mr. Ackerman had lived in Casper since 1938. He was employed here as a heavy equipment operator by the London Construction Co. He moved to Casper from Midwest where he had lived since 1929. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Funeral Services, which will be held in Casper, are pending under the direction of the Bustard Funeral Home. The Casper Tribune-Herald Friday, March 20, 1953 Page 2, Column 1 H. D. Ackerman Funeral services for H. D. Ackerman will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bustard Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Charles S. Bream, Lutheran minister, officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
