OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR: H. T. Glatter Funeral services for H. T. "Gene" Glatter, 76, of Dayton, were to be held March 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Eastgate with the Rev. Msgr. Paul Fee officiating. Burial will follow at Eastgate Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home. He died March 22 in Liberty. A rosary service was held March 23 at Sterling Funeral Chapel in Dayton with the Rev. Msgr. Paul Fee officiating. A native of Westphalia, he had resided in Dayton for the past 38 years. He was a retired pipefitter for Exxon, a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Mary Theresa Sehon Glatter of Eastgate; three sons, Ralph Glatter of Morgan City, La., David Glatter of Lomax, Gerald Glatter of Eastgate; one daughter, Rose Janacek of Liberty; one brother, Henry Glatter of West, Texas; four sisters, Rosie Buckholt of Corpus Christi; Christine Leuschner of Waco, Agnes Mexiner of Elm Mott, Louise Sparks of Gholson; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
