Geraldine Celeste (Oseth) Knutson Stark, 94, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Pikes Peak Hospice. Geraldine was born January 10, 1910 in Pitt, Minnesota, Wabanica Township (Lake of the Woods area) to Pedar & Mina (Nelson) Oseth. At the age of eight, she moved with her family to Big Woods, Minnesota where she attended and graduated from school, worded as a telephone operator, met and married Rickard Oscar Knutson on December 19, 1930. She moved to Hastings with her husband, five children and parents in 1944 where she was employed as a Civil Service secretary at the Naval Depot. She retired in 1975. Richard preceded her in death on June 6, 1977. In 1978 she married Charles Stark and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene where she served as Sunday school teacher, missionary president and member of the church board. Geraldine was preceded by her parents, husbands, Rickard Knutson and Charles Stark, and three children, daughters, Jean E. Knutson, Esther Smith and son Glenn Knutson. Survivors are: Daughter: Ruth Lewis - Colorado Springs, CO Son: Rickard Wayne Knutson - Cedaridge, CO 11 Grandchildren
