PIEDMONT- Graveside services for Larry Earl Wallace, 60, of Piedmont, were Sunday, September 26, 2010, at New Bethel Cemetery in Hokes Bluff with the Rev. Hollis Martin officiating and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in charge. Mr. Wallace died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at his home. Survivors are four sons, Joe Wallace (Jennifer) of Heflin, Michael Wallace (Lee) of Anniston, Jimmy Wallace, of Weaver and Larry Fowler, of Cullman; six grandchildren; sisters, Bea Poole (David) and Louise Woodruff, all of North Carolina, Jewel Heard (William) and Marie McGatha (Daniel), all of Piedmont and Deborah Ann Ray, of Alexandria; nieces and nephews. Mr. Wallace was a native and resident of Piedmont and lived in LaFayette, GA for 18 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lizzie Wallace. (The Piedmont Journal, 2010)
