Ida M. Nowka, 93, died Monday, January 13, 2003 at Beverly Healthcare Park Place, Grand Island, Nebraska. Ida was born August 13, 1909 in Butler County, Nebraska to Joseph & Pauline (Rerucha) Hinesh. On August 25, 1929, she married Frank Alvin Nowka and he preceded her in death in 1978. She was a nurses aide at Webster County Community Hospital, Red Cloud, Nebraska, Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital and the Hastings Regional Center, both in Hastings, Nebraska. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was an area resident since 1929. Ida was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Nowka, 2 sisters and 2 brother. Survivors are: Daughters & Sons-in-law: Betty & Stanley Steinhauer - Sutton, NE JoAnn & Donald Gable - Galena, IL 5 Grandchildren 9 Great Grandchildren
