Jesse Greer Nuttall, age 86, of Salt Lake City, died September 8, 1998, in Salt Lake City. He was born May 17, 1912 in Provo, Utah, to William Albert and Alice Grace Greer Nuttall. He married Ora Lee Phillips on August 3, 1934 in the Logan Temple. She preceded him in death on April 11, 1977. He married Irene Packer on October 3, 1983 in the Salt Lake Temple. In his early years, he worked on the family farm, Nuttall Jersey Farm, delivering milk. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, on many projects in Utah County, for BYU, and at many local ski resorts. He was an avid skier. He is survived by his wife Irene of Salt Lake; five sons and three daughters; Leon (Dorothy) Kennedy of St. George, UT; Ray (Patricia) Johnson of West Jordan, UT; Larry P. (Ovieda) Nuttall of Salt Lake, UT; Bill (Toni) Nuttall of Pinesdale, MT; Jesse Lee (Linda) Nuttall of Pinesdale, MT; Stan (Diana) Wirick of Phoenix, AZ; Joseph L. Nuttall of Salt Lake; three stepsons and three stepdaughters; Edson (Sharon) Packer of Heber, UT; Steve (Pilar) Packer of Scottsdale, AZ; Dennis (Saundra) Louther of Heber, UT; Brian (Claudia) Packer of Magna, UT; and Glen (Linda) Vincent of Salt Lake; 51 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and 1 brother; John (Margaret) Nicol of Orem; Jim (Diana Thurman) McGill of St. George; and Albert (Pat) Nuttall of Modesto, CA. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Reed Nuttall, Ruth Brown, Dean Nuttall, and Julliet Bigler. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, 1998, at 11 a.m., at the Canyon Rim 2nd Ward, 3100 South Gray Street ( 3000 East), Salt Lake City. Friends may call Friday evening, from 6-8 P.M., at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, or Saturday morning, at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services.
