Although it is unknown, this is the most logical burial place for the first wife of James W Rodgers/Rogers, believed to be Nancy M Coplin. (We have been unable to confirm this) They had the following known children, all born in Texas; Martha Ann Rodgers, born in August 1853. Married Charles Shaw and John B Whittle Mary Frances ‘Mollie' Rodgers, born in November 1855. Died after 1910 census. Married William Richard Humphries Cornelia Lucenda ‘Lulu' Rodgers, born about 1858. Died 1898. Married Venezula ‘Babe' S Shaw Joseph Rodgers, born February 1860 Samuel Rodgers, born September 1869
