Ruby Carson Wilson, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on November 29, 2010 in Cedar Hills, UT. She was one day short of her 87th birthday. We will dearly miss her, but are so happy for her to be reunited with her sweetheart, to never again be separated. She was born November 30, 1923 in Lehi, Utah, to James A. and Murrel Carson. She married Robert S. Wilson November 5, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many capacities. She fulfilled a mission with her husband from 1991-1992 in the New York Rochester Mission. She and her husband also worked in the Provo and Mt. Timpanogos Temples. She often described herself as not having accomplished much in this life but we know that she fulfilled her Heavenly Father's greatest wishes for His daughters--she was a loving, sacrificing and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. We could not have asked for anything more. Ruby is survived by four of her five children, Clint (Billie), Jim (Wendy), Lane (Janene), Brooke (John) Cannon, and her daughter-in-law, Denice Wilson, all of whom live in the American Fork area, along with 25 grandchildren and an ever-increasing number of great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Neil, of Lehi. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Robert C., and a grandson, Troy; three sisters, Nora, Ada, and Verna; and two brothers, Herbert and Harry. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lehi East Stake Center, 900 N. 1200 E. A viewing will be held Thursday evening Dec. 2nd from 6-8:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi and one hour prior to services on Friday morning at the church. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Hearts for Hospice and The Charleston Assisted Living Facility, all of whom so lovingly and tenderly cared for her and took care of her when we could not be there to do it ourselves.
