Bio
Married to James W. Moore in 1902.Three children were born to this union,James Coleman,Media Saline(these two listed below) and Ella May born in 1912.The last I have been able to prove for her whereabouts is Brownwood,Texas in 1952 which is where James W. was when he died.She was married to a Jones and had at least two children,a girl,Margaret,first and then a boy whose name I can not remember.Other information has come to light which gives us her place and date of death thanks to Dee Welborn.We also have a few facts between the date of her dad's(my grandfather) death and hers. James and Ethel lived in Granny's Neck (a community in Delta County now covered by Cooper Lake)all of their married lives.James was a farmer and she was a homemaker.They,like all of their neighbors,grew and preserved everything they ate. Hers was the first funeral I remember attending. All of my mother's family belonged to the Church of Christ but because it was such a small building her funeral was held in the First Christian Church. She was well known in the community and well liked and respected. That was evident by the standing room only crowd that attended.There were many people filing past her casket who had been outside the church before those inside could file past.
