THE OKLAHOMAN (Oklahoma City, OK) 1/10/1930 Mayor of Edmond Is Seriously Ill (Friday) Edmond, Jan. 9 - G.H. Fink, mayor of Edmond, is seriously ill at his home here, suffering from organic poisoning. His four daughters, Mrs. Tom Waldrep, Shawnee; Mrs. Joseph Looney, Wewoka; Mrs. Y.V. Willett, Goltry, and Miss Rosina Fink, instructor at Southeastern State Teachers' college, Ada, have been called to Edmond. Fink is an '89er, coming to Oklahoma county during the run and staking a claim near Edmond. He is a thirty-second degree Mason and a Shriner. He has long been identified in Democratic circles and at one time was a member of the state eleemosynary board. He is a director in the Citizens National bank here, and owns extensive property in and near this city. 1/16/1930 MAYOR G.H. FINK OF EDMOND IS DEAD (Thursday) Funeral of County Pioneer Will Be Friday Edmond, Jan. 15 - G.H. Fink, mayor of Edmond, died here Wednesday after an extended illness. The city official, a pioneer of Oklahoma county, was president of the Citizens National bank of Edmond and prominent in civic affairs here for years. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and Shrine, a member of the Edmond Kiwanis club and an Odd Fellow. Fink came to Oklahoma county during the run and staked a claim five miles west of Edmond which he owned at the time of his death, with other city and country property. He was born in Germany 63 years ago. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Tom C. Waldrop of Shawnee, Mrs. Joe C. Looney of Wewoka, Mrs. W.Z. Willett of Goltry and Miss Rosena Fink, teacher at East Central State Teachers college, Ada. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church here and burial will be made at Memorial park. -------------------------
