Ada Was married 1st to Thomas Jefferson Badgwell-had one son Lloyd Thomas Badgwell who preceded her in death in 1980. Then she married J.P. Spivey 24 Mar 1956 in Sterling City-he preceded her in death in 1966 OBIT: ADA SPIVEY ANSON-Ada Spivey, 89, of Anson, died at 5:50 p.m. after a brief illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lawrence Funeral Home. The Rev. Ihsan Ardhuerumly, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Anson, will officiate. Burial will in Mount Hope Cemetery. Born Ada Ford June 19, 1896, in Wise County, she married J.P. Spivey in Sterling City. He died in 1966. She moved to Anson in 1980 and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a brother, Lawton Ford of Denton; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Hamilton of Paducah and Mrs. Alph Holtzclaw of Dallas; a granddaughter, Mrs. Rick (Dianne)Lewellen of Spring; a stepgrandson, Bill Tyler of Tulsa, Okla.; and two great-grandchildren.
