Bio

William Clay Carpenter, 55, of Fort Worth, was a native of Throckmorton County. He had lived in Fort Worth since 1957. He had been in the air conditioning and heating business in Graham from 1954 to 1957. At the time of his death, he was employed in the air conditioning and heating maintenance department at the Fort Worth State School. He was a member of the Masonic Tabernacle Lodge No. 1195, Hemphill Council No. 365 and Moslah Temple. He was a veteran of World War II, having served three years in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. He attended Loveland High School in Loveland, Oklahoma. He was baptized in the Christian faith in Tipton, Oklahoma. Surviving are his wife; two daughters; his parents; two brothers; one sister; one step-brother; two step-sisters; three grandchildren.
