THE NEWS, Junction City, Lane Co. Oregon, January 10, 2008 JACK E. NICKESON, 1928 - 2007 Former Junction City resident Jack E. Nickeson of Cottage Grove died Dec. 24, 2007, at age 79. He was born on May 6, 1928, in Medicine Bow, Wyo., to Wright H. and Iva F. McCashland Nickeson. He married Patsy Calloway in 1955, and they later divorced. He married Clara Emard in 1987. She died in 2005. Nickeson was a mill worker in Junction City. Survivors include a son, Tim Nickeson of Eugene; a daughter, Cindy Nickeson of Junction City; three step-daughters, Judy McWillis of Cheshire, Donna Bowman of Sweet Home, and Joanne Anderson of Credswell; a step-son, Jack Emard of California; a sister, Beryl Bamford of Cheshire; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No service is planned. Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium in Cottage Grove was in charge of arrangements.
