Parents Names According to Marriage Certificate issued in Cuming County Nebraska, 12 May 1879; to Frank Brozek: John Boyer (Pojar) and Madalina Zobek First Marriage to Frank Brozek - 12 May 1879 in Cuming County, Nebraska Second Marriage to John Stracek - 6 June 1889 Box Butte County, Nebraska Third Marriage to John Wragge Obituary: "...Mrs Kate Wragge, familiarly known as "Grandma" Wragge died at the home of her son, Herman Wragge Sr in Pierce at 2 AM Thursday, November 7, 1946 after a long illness, due to her advanced age. At the time of her death she was aged 86 years, 9 monts and 28 days and had 165 living descendents. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her son and at 2:30 at the Christ Lutheran Church with Reverend George Herber officiating Two songs were sung, "Beyond Earth's Sorrows," and "Does Jesus Care," by Mesdames Elmer Cress, Donald Huhl, Harry Boehnke and Miss Evelyn Luebke, with Mrs George Herber accompanying. Burial was in the famiy lot at Prospect View Cemetery. The pall beareres were all grandsons of hte deceased: James Wragge Jr, Lawrence Wragge, George Wragge, Gilbert Wragge, Elmer Wragge, and Vernon Wragge. "...At the age of 16 years, she came to America. Upon her arrival she went to Tabor, Nebraska, a Bohemian Settlement. Here she was employed at housework. At the age of 18 she was united in marriage to Frank Brozeck at West point. Witnesses were Joseph Dostal and Barbara Pojar. They later moved to Chadron, where Mr Brozek died in 1888. She then returned to Dodge, where she married John Stracek in 1898. He also died and after several years she married John Wragge, living near Stanton. "From former marriages and from this union wiht Mr Wragge, Mrs Wragge was the mother of ten children. With the eight children of John Wragge from a former marriage, this pioneer adn grand woman mothered eighteen children...For many years she lived alone with her son Emil in the west part of town, but in later years she spent more time at her children's homes. At the time of her last illness she was being cared for by her son Herman and his wife."
